main objectives of AtlantisBPnet are as follows:
- Provide an Observatory that identifies and analyses
“Good Practice” within the Information Society
in the Atlantic Space
- To make available an inventory of “Good Practice”
for the development of the Information Society in the
European Atlantic Space
- To compare the evolution of the Information Society
in the Atlantic Space with that of other European regions
- To disseminate information about the development of
the Information Society, in particular to public and private
entities which want to implement the demonstrated examples
in their own communities
- To invite those persons and entities which wish to
become an integral part of the future Observatory of good
practice of the Information Society in the Atlantic Space
- To stimulate cooperation across regional agents for
the development of the Information Society in the Atlantic
Space
- To reinforce and define the concept of the Atlantic
Space in the development of the Information Society in
the European and international context
- To seek cooperation with other international Observatories
